i absolutely loved this. the manner you told this story was so engaging, i was drawn in immediately!! all the different wives. their differing personalities, their stories. they all resonated with me. i felt as if i was in that room, acting as their listener. even small tidbits of dialogue gave so much personality to each wife!!!! this image of bluebeard shapes in your mind, and you know he's a wide-beheading murderer - but it's as if his charms still fooled me. as if somehow he wasn't at fault for his wives' deaths. all in all, an absolutely amazing story. a piece of art!!!! (also, twin and painter (possibly) being queer? love.)
